when i download a pdf file, it auto opens on a new tab. i dont want it to auto open. for it to not auto open i have to explictly click on the downloading file, i couldn't find a settings in the settings menu to stop auto opening.

Hello team, I have an issue on some websites where certain images are being stretched out (whether smaller or larger) after Firefox v150.

This didn't happen before that. And, it doesn't happen in Edge nor in Vivaldi. I have no idea what changed.

Can you please resolve that? I was disappointed that v150.0.1 did not resolve it today.

win 11. "VPN protection for firefox is on" in settings, privacy/security, in the vpn section I see "get started". double click; nothing happens. I want youtube and X to run without using vpn. Thanks

Read several different instructions on Chatgpt that takes you down a never-ending rabbit hole. Firefox is restoring previously closed tabs from days or weeks earlier without user input during active use while typing in the middle of the keyboard with an activated red stylus mouse - used frequently and/or with an external mouse. The thumb pad is turned off. There are no shift, windows, 7 strokes. Upon restart of the computer, the Firefox settings are set to restore only active tabs open from previous session. This is a Lenovo T16 Thinkpad product no. 21HH003yus. The issue appears to be related to session restore corruption, possibly triggered by very large tab volumes (hundreds of tabs). Windows 11 that tabs reopen during active typing (not startup) hundreds of tabs open whether Firefox Sync is enabled ???? whether crashes/freezes occur - no whether the same old tabs repeatedly resurrect - no, but there are so many of them from weeks and months ago. whether you use session/tab extensions  ??? Believe recent version of Firefox or close.

If I search for something else it comes up in English. I have gone to settings and set my default as English. I have followed all the instructions, but I still get French. How can I change this. I am not French speaking.

When you got rid of Brendan Eich I thought very little about it. The Internet is for everyone they said. Now it is 2026 and "Recommended stories" has hard core leftist publishers but no right wing publishers. I've been using Mozilla and Firefox since long before 1.0 when it had to be compiled. I hosted the compilations at my expense and gave it away to new users so that they could enjoy the WWW.

I think I'm just fed up with the left, and in turn I am fed up with Mozilla / Firefox.

did a previous update and could not access one of my sites that I visit (rzrfourms.net) it will load home page but not let me do anything. Can access with chrome.Also did another update today and now can not bring up Facebook marketplace, just sites there not loading. Same problem on desktop and two laptops.

I live in California in the USA and it doesn't And I made sure I was signed in, have Windows 11, I have Firefox version 150.1 Anything I'm missing here ? I have Ad Blocker an turned that off thinking that might cause it. I'm no computer wiz so maybe I missing something ?

The VPN was installed in my old Windows 10 Pc; in November all of my system and filesereas transferred to the Windows 11 HP laptop I am now using. The VPN app appears nowhere on my system and I cannot use it. Iwant to get it installed or the subscription cancelled

For the last couple of days, the address bar on the web apps that I've installed to my taskbar has been shrunk to about a third its usual length. I don't have flexible space put anywhere on my toolbar, and the problem is only on the sites I've put in the taskbar, not in regular browser windows. Is there a way to fix it, and get it back so it reaches all the way to the extension icons?

I'm using Firefox 147.0.1 on Windows 11, Version 25H2, Build 26200.7623, if that helps
