Keyword search doesn't work on my Android with synced FF
Ubuntu 12.04 with FF 13.0.1 and Android 2.3.5 wit FF14 I use keywords for bookmarks on my Ubuntu desktop. I have now synced my FF with my Android but I can't use my keywords to go to a bookmark. - Is keywords not supported or is there a setting or other to make this work? /Göran

Hi,
Thanks for using Firefox on Android. You can edit bookmarks on mobile by long-tapping and selecting edit (the Keyword field appears). But, I am also not able to bring up bookmarks by typing a keyword in the title bar, so I'll check on this and find the bug number for you, so you can track the progress on it.
Regards, Michelle
Thanks it would be great to get it working.

I really miss bookmark keywords too...I was using them regularly on my phone to avoid searching through all of the bookmarks. Any updates as to a fix? I'm considering downgrading to get back the functionality.
Thanks, Eric
Any updates...this issue hasn't been addressed in the recent new releases of FF for Android.
I am having this "bookmark keyword - search engine - precedence problem", too. I have bookmark keywords defined in Firefox and synced them on my Android Firefox 14.0.1
If I type a bookmark keyword into the address bar, then a Google search for the keyword is done, instead of browsing to the destination of the keyword's bookmark URL!
In my opinion, keywords must always have priority to search engines!
I have not changed the about:config settings, and with my desktop Firefox (16.0.1) everything is fine: bookmark keywords have precedence.
Please fix this or communicate a workaround (e.g. by changing the about:config settings somehow) , because keyword bookmarks are an even more important feature on smartphones than on desktop computers.
Thank you.
