Firefox for iOS (iOS/iPadOS) is installed from the Apple App Store like every other app. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-your-ipad-iphone-or-ipod

The Firefox dmg from say https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/desktop-release/ is the desktop version for macOS as you can see in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac
