Thunderbird message addressing

At one time when addressing emails composed in Thunderbird it just accepted text and you could edit the addresses on the fly, even those entered by the context dropdown. Now the application pastes or enters the addresses on the address lines as an un-editable object.

I am just writing this message to urge Mozilla and Thunderbird to roll back this very annoying change.

You can edit the pills, just double click into them again, instead of single click
