Why are there so few options for customizing Firefox for Android?
I'm just wondering, does it have to do with the platform being difficult to customize things with? Having used Firefox for years, it's really frustrating trying to get used to Firefox for Android. Are there any plans to make it more customizable?

It would possibly help if you could explain what you'd like to customize.
One thing I'd like to do is turn off the pop up that asks if I want to share a link. When I'm using a touchscreen to scroll down a page, that popup is constantly getting activated and I have to find a place on the page to tap to get rid of it. It's really aggravating and I don't use it.
Another thing I'd like to do is to set it to always request the desktop version of a page, is there a way to do that?
I often will look up a way to do things as they come up and find no options or suggestions beyond customizing my home page or "top sites".
Thanks for your help.
Is there a way to always automatically request the desktop version of sites?
Is there a way to disable the popup that asks if I want to share a link?
Is it possible to do either of these in about:config?
