Logging out of firefox sync
I work in an office and, while I do have private computers, everyone's login credentials are common knowledge. (We're a small company and our de-facto "IT" guy has everyone using the same password, I suppose it makes things easier for him?). With this in mind, I would like to be able to make sure that when I leave the office for the day my synced bookmarks are not available.
I've tried going in and disconnecting the account but it just prevents further syncing and the bookmarks remain. Is there anything I can do?

HI, nothing that I can think of that will do what you want. Everything would break or not be able to Sync.
Your IT person is incredible as all anyone would need is your user name to gain access. Advocate for change would be the best way to deal with this. So easy to hack with everyone using the same password.
I know this is not what you wanted to hear.
If you do not want them to sync and be private just pull your Profile folder
and move it to USB when leave and when return put it back. As to how Sync would think about that I am not sure as would be best to disconnect I think.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
Passwords can be protected using a Master Password, but that is all there is.
What you could do is carry your data in your pocket;
