There is a lock on the icon of a letter next to my e-mail name in the upper Left Hand corner file tab. How do I get my e-mail? I appear to be locked out.

I don't think the lock icon is your problem It simply indicates a account that uses a secured connection i.e. SSL or TLS.

Who is the account provider?
