How do I get rid of unwanted browsers when I try to open my designate search engine (google)?

AVG Search and Flipora. The keep coming up when I try to search or find sites. I normally use google for my searches. I have tried to find them so I can erase them or remove them but I can never find where they are. Any thoughts?
