FF crashes at startup and pops up the maintenance helper dialog. Restart does not work, only quit available. Starting from firefox.exe only works by choosing previous versions. Only starts in safe mode, refresh does not work. After quitting FF will not restart again. Uninstalling and downloading new copy from Mozilla results in crash. Per the clean install instructions, after uninstalling from control panel, unable to locate the installation folder to delete it. Running Win7 home premium 32-bit. Troubleshooting information was copied by opening previous version. Please help!

Chosen solution

hello theloniusff, this is a crash caused by stardock's windowsblinds software, that you probably have running on the system as well... mozilla's developers are currently looking into that issue. in case you want to redownload firefox 36 for the moment you can do so at https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-36.0-SSL&os=win
