I am being bombarded with ads on the timeline of my facebook page. FB and mozilla both tell me I can 'opt out' of add ons, but when I click on my Firefox tab the only option given to me is to click on 'add ons' in order to ADD stuff. I want to remove myself from all add ons but can't find any way to do so. I am being spammed by advertising and want it to stop please. Thanks

Firefox doesn't come bundled with any add-ons, therefore there's nothing to opt-out of. Add-ons that are installed without your consent and do nothing but display ads are malware. See the following article for details.

You can temporarily start Firefox with all add-ons disabled by clicking the Firefox button, opening the Help menu, then choosing Restart with Add-ons Disabled. If the problem persists, then the issue isn't caused by an add-on.
