Apparently you have the "funmoods Toolbar" on your system.

The first step is to remove it using the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features > funmoods Toolbar > Remove.

The next step is to restart Firefox and clear it from wherever it has embedded itself. This may take several steps. Some people get frustrated with the details and use the Reset feature. Since you can lose some settings that way, you might want to try the step-by-step approach first.

(1) Remove or at least disable all related add-ons. These generally can be found here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions category

If it isn't obvious which extension is responsible, disable all the ones that are not essential to your use of Firefox. Then restart the browser using one of the restart links.

(2) Reset your home page if that has been switched. You can choose a new home page here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > General

(3) Reset your searches back to the default (Google). The simplest way to do this is using the SearchReset extension:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/

(4) If you are getting Funmoods in a new tab, you can reset that. Here's how, a quick detour into the plumbing:

(A) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(B) In the filter box, type or paste newtab and pause while the list is filtered

(C) Double-click the browser.newtab.url preference and enter the desired value:

(i) Page thumbnails (default)

browser.newtab.url = about:newtab

(ii) Blank tab

browser.newtab.url = about:blank

(iii) Built-in Firefox home page

browser.newtab.url = about:home

(iv) Any other page

browser.newtab.url = full URL to the page

Press Ctrl+t to open a new tab and verify that it worked. Fixed?

Solved? If not, please describe the remaining problem areas.

The Reset feature duplicates certain key data from your active settings folder into a new one, bypassing some add-ons and custom settings. More information in this article: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.

Hope this helps.
