After upgrading to 8.0.1 some of my bookmarks are mmissing. I want to add back the ones that are missing not all of them because I have bookmarked additional sites.
Unfortunately when a user uses the bookmark restore feature, it over writes the existing bookmarks and the ones that have been added after converting to the new release 8.0.1 are lost. Why were some selective bookmarks deleted and how do I get them back?

Unfortunately, Firefox has not responded to this very simple question. I was in software development for years and can assure everyone that this is not a difficult issue to resolve....that is if it is a priority??????
