Hi..this problem happens with FF6 & FF7. When I go to my home page...My Yahoo...I now have to sign in. I click 'sign in' and all the info is there and I just have to click 'enter'. This is not normal. I have gone straight to My Yahoo before (this issue) and never had to 'sign in'. What's up? Any suggestions?

Websites remembering you and automatically log you on is stored in a cookie.

  • Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

Do not use Clear Recent History to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"

Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

Thanks for the reply. The problem was caused by the Abine security suite. Deleted it, and no problems. Abine has been notified.
