With the download to the latest Firefox, the bar containing the awesome bar, the home icon, etc. is missing; what do I do now?
The whole line containing the awesome bar, the back button, the home icon, etc. is not there. I have tried a second download with the same results. I do not want to lose my bookmarks or history. What is the next step, since Firefox is not usable in this state.

Hey, try going to View > Toolbars and checking Navigation Toolbar.
