How do I set up firefox on mac to clear history whenever I shut down firefox?

When I had firefox on pc, I could have it clear my history whenever I got off of firefox. Now that I use mac, this feature is non existent. Is there going to be a feature like that in the future with firefox and mac? Thank you, bard monson

I am on Windows, and to do this you open options, go to the privacy tab and set the history box to "Use custom settings...". You can then configure what history is remembered and what history is cleared when you close firefox. I imagine it would be the same on Mac, it was when I used linux.
