Cookie Monster error reading forefox cookies. V3,47 firefox 4.1
Since I upgraded to firefox 4.1 cookie monster v3.47 gives the following error.
error reading forefox cookies. check browser isn't opened.
I have checked the system and firefox is not running.

That program is over 2 years old, so it shouldn't be a surprise that it may not work correctly in Firefox 4.0.1.
Why not give this extension a try?

I already have this version of the add-on to firefox; it is the main Cookie Monster program that reports the error, it worked fine with the 3.6 version of firefox.
I have used cookie monster and firefox together for more then 5 years.
