since I downloaded version 4 there is no lock for loging into secure sites or putting in confidential info.

I recently downloaded version 4 and when I go to get into my banking online page, or make a purchase via internet, I no longer get the little lock shown that confirms it is a secure site and confidential information can be entered. This makes firefox useless for a lot of what I need to do and I don't understand how I received verification of security on the old version and do not on this on.

The lock symbol has been removed in Firefox 4 and replaced with the How do I tell if my connection to a website is secure?
