The compatibility information is in the install.rdf file in the XPI (like a Zip container - 7-Zip will open the XPI), on the maxVersion line of code.
while accessing the sidebar@yourdomain.com it gives error. The parameter is incorrect
Changing compatibility information just gets an older extension to install into Firefox, it doesn't actually make it "compatible". Where did you get that extension from? I don't see it at the official Mozilla addons website.
