2 "items" or windows or apps in the lower toolbar will not open so that I can close (exit) them. they do not disappear when firefox is closed or computer is shut down. they return every time, but often change names

Are you able to provide more information. What are typical names of these "items". Any idea what they do, or were expected to do, or where they came from ? Which toolbar they on ? Are you able to hide and display the toolbar concerned using

  • View->Toolbars (similar menu and option by right clicking on one of the toolbars)
