When I "rollover" the personas to try them out, nothing happens. I have to click and download just to see what it will look like.

I updated to Firefox version 3.6.6

Previewing a persona only works on sites that are whitelisted via an allow exception. Firefox > Preferences > Security : "Warn me when sites try to install add-ons": Exceptions

Make sure that you do not use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the 'Site Preferences'.
