how do I fix other site login issues

At Specific Sites I visit a lot, how do I fix them to stop asking for verification code? I don't know how it got changed but it's really exasperating.

Hi KC, many sites require multi-factor authentication. After you confirm that it's really you, the site sets a cookie for future reference so that it knows you already confirmed and do not need to do it again.

If you are asked every time, that usually indicates that the MFA cookie was cleared, either because it was set in a private window/tab, or because cookies were cleared when Firefox closed, or because an add-on cleared them, or because external cleanup software cleared cookies. There are a lot of ways to lose cookies...

As a starting point, are you having this problem in Firefox for Android (your browser identified itself as a mobile version of Firefox) or on a desktop OS (Windows/Mac/Linux)?

Are you using a "regular" (non-private) tab/window to access these sites?

I can't quite recall if this happens on my Apple Desktop or not but I primarily use my Android phone where it continually happens. I know it happens most often on my bank account and Amazon. And I always check the box on Amazon that says keep me logged in but it doesnt. Whatever happened to this MFA how do I get it back? I think I am using a regular non private access. Thanks

Firefox for Android should save your cookies from one session to the next. There is a feature to clear private data when you use the menu to Quit on Firefox for Android, but most people do not use this and, if you do, you can adjust its behavior so it doesn't clear cookies. The following article will help you check on that:

Clear your browsing history and other personal data on Firefox for Android

(Android has its own separate features to clear an app's cache or data, which can be very destructive, so please avoid using those for routine clearing of browsing data.)
