Google.com suddenly stops showing search input for Firefox

This morning I found that Google.com has started eliminating the search input area for Firefox users unless they actually log in to Google. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Someone else mentioned they couldn't see the search bar. Just guessing, it may be because Firefox is now adding other search engines without any user action.
