mailto extension disabled by Chrome store but not by FF

In regards to the extension "mailto" it has been disabled by Chrome Web store in Edge and Chrome for a malware problem, but, it still shows active in FF. Would someone verify this is a safe extension or not. If unsafe please advise or disbale it
