Both the 32bit and 64bit windows install files have the same binary name. This is more of a (feature?) request that the installation executables have different names, for example using "Firefox setup 87.0_64bit.exe" to indicate the bitwiseness of the installer. This helps when downloading the installer for lan installs from a file server, and generally helps a user identify which installer it is. x86 and x64 are also common suffixes used in many other projects to indicate bitness of an installer. It would save users manually having to rename on download, and is probably a minor build system change. thanks.

Sorry, but the reply has nothing to do with my request. Obviously raoehtesham8 did not understand the request. To explain in a different way,

When using 64bit windows, you go to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release and select "english british", and click on "Download now" you download "Firefox Setup 87.0.exe" which is the 64bit installer. if you select "Windows 32bit" on https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release and click on "Download now", the file you download is also called "Firefox Setup 87.0.exe" but is the 32bit installer.

I don't have two files in one folder the same name, the second download would overwrite the first, unless I renamed one of them. The problem is that the same name is used on mozilla's download page for both installer types, which means that users wanting to download both installers have to put them in different folders, or rename one of them on download. It would be nice if the 32bit and 64bit installers as supplied by mozilla had different file names, for example Firefox Setup 87.0_x86.exe and Firefox Setup 87.0_x64.exe or alternatively Firefox Setup 87.0_64bit.exe and Firefox Setup 87.0.exe
