Firefox start up crash on Ubuntu 18.04

Hi, I currently have the following error message when i start firefox from Terminal in safe mode

~$ firefox/firefox -safe-mode ExceptionHandler::GenerateDump cloned child 2702 ExceptionHandler::SendContinueSignalToChild sent continue signal to child ExceptionHandler::WaitForContinueSignal waiting for continue signal...

The crash persists:

When I start firefox in safe mode When I uninstall it and install a fresh copy I have also deleted the StartUp cash folders I could find within ~/.mozilla/firefox I not understand how any kind of malware could be on my Linux system, or how to check Here is the Crash report

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear
