opening the firefox browser and it is not remembering the save sites
why is firefox saying it remembers and shares nothing when I open the browser and it then requires me to login

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?
Maybe the Active Logins and Cookie is cleared when you are closing the browser.
Try changing settings to: Preferences > Privacy & Security > History > Firefox will "Remember History"
