I have logged into this site in the past. I just cleared all the site's cookies in case they were corrupted. Can I adjust my Prefs/ Privacy / content blocking settings by individual site in 68.3.0 esr? Apparently I have just done so, but hell if I know how I did it...

I block everything under Custom, of course. The "green padlock" Content Blocking says that https://login.medscape.com DOES have an exception, to allow cookies. Below, Permissions also says they ARE allowed to set cookies.

But I keep getting this error:

https://login.medscape.com In order to use Medscape, your browser must be set to accept cookies delivered by the Medscape site. Medscape uses cookies to customize the site based on the information we collect at registration. The cookies contain no personally identifiable information and have no effect once you leave the Medscape site.

No problems here with Firefox 68.5.0 ESR (current release) with default cookie settings (no special allow exceptions).

You can try to create an allow exception for this domain:

You can remove all data stored in Firefox for a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox for this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data for that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data for that website will be saved once again.
