Font changes - how to affect left side bookmark menu?

I can change the fonts using the preferences and I can change the look of the main page using ctrl-+ or ctrl-; but I cannot change the font size of the left bookmark menu (or the the top menu bar). The fonts are too small for what I need. Is there any way to change them. All the other tools changin what is in the viewing pane but not in the "controls" section of the browser.
