Automatic Log Ins Not Working All of a Sudden
All of a sudden, on 2 iMacs, my auto logins are not working; seems to have coincided with 62.0. Now I have to log in to basic stuff like Yahoo and a weather chat board every time I boot into my computer; never had this issue before.
Prefs show my logins are saved.
I've deleted all the cookies and saved passwords etc in Prefs and reloaded everything, and no joy. Ditto with cleaning cache. It is not a one computer issue, either.
Attached are my plugins, but they never interfered before ...
Any suggestions?

This happens when you do not keep the cookie that the website uses to remember you.
This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.
- check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools -> Page Info -> Permissions"
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-login-issues-on-websites-require-passwords
Make sure you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode (Always use Private Browsing mode; Never Remember History).
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/private-browsing-use-firefox-without-history
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" - remove checkmark: [ ] "Always use Private Browsing mode"
A detail like a website remembering you (log you in automatically) is stored in a cookie.
You can use these steps to make a website recognize and remember you:
- you can create an "Allow" exception to keep specific cookies, especially in case of secure websites and when cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
- Options/Preferences -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: Exceptions
- clearing "Cookies" will remove all selected cookies including cookies with an "Allow" exception you may want to keep
- clearing "Site Preferences" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exception for password and other website specific data
