why are colors are faded since last 2 updates
The colors are faded especially on my email site. I didn't have this problem prior to the last 2 updates. I has gotten worse since the change in gmail.

HI, please give this a try : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Hi suerasak99, Gmail now has a variety of color schemes for the overall appearance of the mailbox. You can access those from the "gear" icon above the message list; I think they are under Themes. Does that affect what you wanted to change back, or was it something else on the page or in messages that is faded?
Edit:
I found Google's help article on Gmail themes, in case it's relevant: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/112508

Thank you for your response. My concern is the inbox " stars, flags etc. " colors and clarity. They used to be so clear and bright, now I find I have to look closely as many are hard to define for color. I use the colors to keep my messages up to date and organized. Even the message font in the email is pale compared to the past. You are right the theme page is bright but that isn't the problem.

When you click on the cogwheel, the first option you'll see is :
"Go back to classic Gmail "
Worth a try .....
