It is possible you accidentally changed the keyboard layout by using a key sequence to rotate the keyboard layout. I don't know if this still works the same in Windows 10.

Windows remembers the keyboard layout setting per application and you may have changed the keyboard layout by accident via a keyboard shortcut.

HI, sounds like some corruption in Win 10.

Please : Use the Windows key + X keyboard shortcut to open the Power User menu and select Command Prompt (Admin).

Type or Copy/Paste the following command and press Enter:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Reboot after.

Or if go to System --> About and you are not at version 1803 do this : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

If are at version 1803 Then from the search bar suggest type Troubleshooters also try : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Troubleshoot-font-problems

It also could be hardware if us a plug in keyboard try a wireless and if it is a Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse can do this : https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-ca/downloads/mouse-keyboard-center

Failing all of the above see a forum for help : https://www.tenforums.com/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
