Videos Not Playing

I got some new information that I'm not 100% clear about from a website where I can't play videos anymore. I have Windows XP 32bit Service pack 3 with Firefox version 52.40 ESR This is what was told to me, is it possible to fix this? "For video we use segmented MP4s delivered using HLS. For support you therefore need a Browser / OS that supports the HLS or the Media Source Extensions (MSE) Standard."

Hi Michael:

Firefox has supported MSE (Media Source Extensions) for a while. The problem on XP, as mentioned before, is when a site only offers MP4/H.264 media, Firefox cannot decode it without a workaround.
