how to move inbox folders and address book only
Have set up Thunderbird on a new laptop and have moved all messages. What I need to do now is move all the Inbox Folders and the address box to the new laptop. Wife's computer and she has about ten custom folders. Do not want to use Wizard as it will likely try to move stored messages again. We also switched her from POP to IMAP so another reason I do not want to chance anything trying to transfer messages.

Your old accounts that were set up using POP now, potentially, represent the sole copy of the data in them. So we would urge you not to attempt to convert an account. Set up new IMAP connected accounts and then move the old content into them.

This is a puzzling question.
You say "Inbox folders and address book only" - so what is it you don't want to move?
You say you have "moved all messages" - from where, to where, and how?
And you say you "do not want to use the Wizard" - what wizard?
The recommended method is to copy the whole profile. It's easier, faster and safer than trying to pick it apart and work piecemeal.
