WHy is the previous fully functional version of Yahoo Toolbar no longer "verified"?
The new "simple" version of Yahoo Toolbar is so "simple" as to be useless. I had installed the previous version of the toolbar and it was fine until a few days ago. I had to uninstall and re-install Firefox, and now it tells me the older toolbar "can't be verified". Why not? And my Logitech v 6.5 for my wireless mouse is the same thing. These are not unknown possibly dangerous add-ons.
Why are they now disabled?
WTF is going on with Firefox? Each new version seems to make the program either less stable, less useful or both. So Where The Fuck is useful technical support? the FAQ are so basic that they do not address real questions.

People were using the then previous versions as a workaround to have the old toolbar back after the new one was put up. Then a couple weeks later Yahoo removed several versions of their toolbar extension that was listed since May 7, 2014 and the current version 5.0.2.

Yahoo was acquired by Verizon in later part of July and shortly after the Yahoo toolbar was changed.
