Can I create private backup copy of selected emails on my hard disk?
i would like to copy some of my family emails sent & received to my hard disk or whatever suitable backup facility I choose. Whichever computer I use shouldn't matter.

In most cases, e-mail remains stored on the e-mail provider servers unless it is removed. Note: Some providers may clean out old messages. Check your provider.
If you use an e-mail browser such as Windows Live Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird, you can store e-mails in a folder on the computer.
You can store an e-mail by saving it as a text file on the computer. Check with your provider for help with this.
