Did Firefox recover any data from the previous profile folder?
Do you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop?
If that is the case then you can recover your personal data and copy files . For the Bookmarks you can copy the places.sqlite file (history and bookmarks) and the bookmarkbackups folder. You can recover other data. For the passwords you need logins.json and key3.db.
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

Thank you. But Mozilla was smart enough to screw it up why can't it be smart enough to auto fix it? Even if it used yes/no step by step questions. Why do i need to be a technophobe to fix what they said was just a REFRESH with a single button push?
