Was playing flash game without problems until abrupt crash. Tried opening in safe mode and multiple uninstall/re-install attempts but continues to crash shortly after opening. cannot refresh (as per troubleshooting info) without crashing. Also uses approx. 30% of cpu and memory when starting (about 1gb, .7ghz) and this never happened before unless flash games or videos were playing; certainly not upon start up. Scanned for malware with malwarebytes (clean), optimized drives, no change. Can't really do anything without crashing. reinstall makes no discernible changes, and safemode does not open.

No crashes prior to initial event, 3 additional crashes due to troubleshooting/reinstall attempts. also, THANK YOU! I've tried everything I can. I appreciate the help.

One of the crashes has a bug where the issue was tracking protection being enabled for some users.

However it has been resolved. Please update to the latest version of Firefox, 36 and post back if this continues to happen.
