Suddenly all saved passwords are gone on my pc. Still have them on android via sync. How can I get them back?

I tried to login on some site and noticed the password was not autofilled. So I checked the 'saved passwords' window and notice it is totally empty.

I have tried the troubleshooting method described here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Password_Manager#Troubleshooting with no success (the setting signon.importedFromSqlite vanished).

I have the files logins.json and key3.db that are supposed to contain the passwords.

I also have firefox sync set up to 2 android devices and both of them still have all the passwords available.

How can I restore passowords on my pc?

The "Remember Password" extension has been reported to cause issues with the passwords disappearing, so if you have this extension then remove (uninstall) it.

hello quantumtech, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...

Thank you philipp, cor-el and FredMcD. I did have "Remember Password" extension installed. After I uninstalled it, the passwords reappeared.

I do not have the "Remember password" extension installed and I still have this same problem. Any other solutions?
