Firefox crashes
Dear reader.
Firefox crasht in normal&safe mode. Already de-instal with Reno Uninstaller and re-instal, not work. Mozila Maintenance Service don't work. Crash continue. Drivers are up-date, Software is up-date. Internet Security is working and up-date. Virusscan with AVG free, Malwarebite, Super Antispyware and MCAffee On-line Scanner shows computer is clean. Memtest shows no problems. Firefox crashed first time on 13/06/2014

Crash-ID: bp-d4596c3e-a0c8-432e-b4a0-421112140615
I would be verry happy and gratefull to receive some help from Mozila-Firefox team.
Your truly,
Frans Wouters.

Well from the given crash IDs, no bug or error can be identified. So, in this circumstances, I would suggest two things:
- Do you have more than one antivirus installed? If so, then that might be the problem. Having more than one antivirus can hamper the performance of computer, and so Firefox might be crashing.
- Read the article at
[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/.../uninstall-firefox-from-your-computer]Uninstall Firefox from your computer . It will show how to completely uninstall Firefox. Then using any other browser, download the latest version of Firefox (stable) from[http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/.../new/]http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ . And then install it again.
Try the first option. If it doesn't work, then go for the second.

That is a problem with the software of your Belgium eID software:
Firefox 30.0 Crash Report [@ beid35cardlayer.dll@0xab31 ]
You would have to contact them for support about this issue. Also make sure to have the latest version.
Hallo James,
Your help is much apreciated.
The 2 links in first post don't work (web page cane not be reached).
So I un-istall BelgianID and Firefox with Revo Uninstaller Pro.
Re-instal Firefox latest version again, And it works
Thank you again :-)
Now I try to install the drivers fore BelgianId and re-install this programme.
Strange but Firefox latest version and BelgianId was working properly fore about 4 day's.
I keep you informed.
Your truly,
Frans.
Frans12 There is no reason to uninstall Firefox using any utility. Doing so runs risks that you will lose information unnecessarily e.g. remove History bookmarks passwords and settings.

I took the liberty of editing your last post, and have fixed the links.
I note from the crash ID beid35cardlayer.dll@0xab31 bp-bd59f781-482f-4d77-bc0b-cda6c2140615 ( Crash Signature: beid35cardlayer.dll@0xab31 ) you are using version 3.5.6.6968

You can use a space character as a separator between the URL and description [href description]. The pipe (|) is used for KB links that use the description format
Hi James,
Again, Thank you fore the help, It was most welcome.
I will follow your tip if necessary in the future about UN-installing Firefox. Luckily everything was still there :-)
I'm now using the latest drivers and software from BeId, But didn't add this BeId to Firefox extensions as the first time, And now everything is working well.
I appreciate the work you have done fore me,
Frans.
