When I launch firefox, it does not open, however it is listed in task manager as active.

Hi,

Have you already tried to run firefox in safe mode? (start -> all programs -> firefox -> firefox (safe mode). Make sure you deactivate all addons (normally you get this option while starting in safe mode). Any progression?

I assume you already have ending the task in task manager and try to re-open firefox?

When firefox will open in safe mode, but still not in normal mode there is some addon that occur this problem.

When firefox still doesn't start at all, you can delete or rename your firefox profile. Delete or add an extra character to the map (or just delete your whole profile folder). After that, try to launch firefox.
