I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I've been using multi-account containers for a long time. I've always used 'ctrl + shift + # of container' to open new tabs in a specific container. Recently, that feature has stopped working - but only for some containers? I can still open containers 1 and 2 using that shortcut, but my other containers just don't respond.

I've tried deleting the unresponsive containers and creating new ones, but that doesn't fix the problem. They work great otherwise - I can still open them with my mouse. Is there a fix for this?

Everytime I try to do a search in Firefox I get a Manuals Library page come up. Why is it doing this? I did a search not long ago for a user's manual for a product, and I guess I accidentally downloaded this Manuals Library. Now I have no idea how to get rid of it. There is no shortcut on my desktop for it, I cannot find it anywhere in my downloaded programs in Uninstall or Change a Program in my Control Box. I DO NOT want this program! Help please!! I am not a geek and I follow all the details of 'how to etc etc' but nothing works and the phone goes into random loops and keeps telling my I cannot sync (I KNOW that). Firefox has no phone number or email system for technical support (or any type of support) just this hit and miss system of 'forums' (or is that fora). I tried to send a bug report but I am NOT signing up for another (geek speak) account just to send you the problem. Please fix this issue - it never used to happen on older versions - how can I roll back my firefox to something that works properly?? I don;t know if I chose the right "best describes the question" because the first half of the option is off the screen to the left, and there's no way to scroll over. I would like to go back to the version that preceded this latest update please. It worked well. Please reply by email, [email-removed], because I can't read most of what's on the screen here. I hope someone pays attention to this, because otherwise I'll have to abandon Firefox, and it's been by far my preferred browser. Can't think what you've done to it. Your updates in the past all worked fine. I'm on a Lenovo ThinkPad S145 with Windows10.

So, the old problem of double spacing is back. Luckily only on bookmarks menu and sidebar, but even so it's annoying.

Has there been any progress with finding a solution for this perennial nuisance?

Also, the userchrome.css fixes I've used previously don't seem to be working. What's the latest fix to be used?

I just restored my bookmarks and found I needed to add some bookmarks to my bookmarks bar. However, I couldn't drag the site's padlock to the bookmarks bar. I have an overflowing bar, but the link didn't go into the overflow area. What's wrong here?

I have noticed issues with; when I download an attachment, i.e.graphics file, that the browser closes.

I have my emails configured where Yahoo and gmail available by selecting. Sometimes Yahoo mail will close and Gmail will remain open, Firefox doesn't crash but somehow closes either gmail or yahoo but not both???

Hello! This is probably one of those intrusive facebook things I won't be able to stop, but when I open messenger in Firefox, it prompts me every! single! time! to download messenger for windows, which I very much don't want to do. It does it via a box over my messages that I have to physically click away. I already have pop-up windows disabled for every site. I went to permissions-- notifications but it wouldn't let me add messenger. Is there anything I can do?

I'm currently using a Windows 10 desktop computer most of the time, but will need to use a Windows 11 laptop for research travel several times over the next several months.

Will it be possible to copy my profile from Win 10 to the Win 11 computer, use the Win 11 computer for a few weeks, and then copy the profile back to the Win 10 computer?

Or is there something different about Firefox working with Win 10 or Win 11 that would keep this from working for me?

(BTW: Using Sync would probably not be feasible.)

Firefox has suddenly stopped sizing shipping labels when downloading them from Amazon and ebay. They print way too large. Changing the printer setting, size, etc does not help. It seems as though Firefox is converting them somehow. I have tried clearing the printer settings in Firefox also.

After this latest Firefox install, my zoom percentages are wonky. They were set at 100% before but now I have to adjust them to around 70% for the same zoom effect, but that doesn't fix how much taller the tab space is and bookmark space relative to the previous version.

i really hate when forcing a new features without clear or easy way to disable it ..started the the download icon new annoying behave. now i have 2 more problems....

1.how can i disable this one ( Windows' "Make text bigger" accessibility setting now affects all the UI and content pages, rather than only applying to system font sizes) it was ok before update i want to remove this new one i don't like the UI auto resize..

2.after updating to 103 my bookmarks toolbar stopped working.. now its it's empty and i cannot add any new bookmark by select and drag the only thing i can do to show or hide this blank bookmark toolbar how to fix it ?

I opened Firefox this morning and suddenly my home screen was 4 or 5 times larger then when I shut down the night before. The zoom settings in the menu only affect the body of the home screen. I can not find how to reduce the size of the fonts being used in the ribbon.

I have cloned my $HOME (including ./.mozilla/firefox/) to another Linux device.

Now I realize that changing the Firefox Sync device name on the new device would also change it for the other device when checking "Connected Services" https://accounts.firefox.com/settings. I also can only see the new device name when using "Send to device" from any device.

I guess I have to unlink my new device and somehow assign it a new device ID for Firefox Sync to recognize the new device. How can I do that?

Google Calendar and a few other websites do not render symbols correctly. Please see attached. What should be displayed instead of letters are symbols such as > or ^. I've tried updating FF (103.0.2), ran in Safe Mode, disabled extensions, and nothing has helped. I'd like to keep using FF instead of Safari (running MacOS Monterey 12.5.1), but this is annoying.

Wie kann man auf die Dateien unter '/usr/share' zugreifen?
