Oh, good grief! How many times do I have to enter this information?! 1. I want to manage blocked cookies via a "blacklist", rather than a whitelist. Also, I want to select cookies to block from a current list, instead of having to memorize them and type them in manually. 2. I have "strict" tracking protection enabled, yet I get permanent cookies installed from websites I do not visit or interact with. For instance, if I open a new site web page, and that page has a Youtube video, even though it doesn't play (because I have autoplay blocked), yet the page adds a permanent Youtube cookie to my computer, that gets updated (and often multiplies), whenever I start my browser. Please provide a means to prevent this!

Firefox update from 111.0.1 to 112 set the dates of most cookies into the far future and keeps doing it

The last update made it look like all cookies were gone, except there are still there but the dates are wrong. 90%+ of them have their "last used" date set to "in 4,137 years" (see screenshot). Websites ask to accept cookies every time Firefox is restarted, which makes them basically useless. I have to use phone authentication each time I want to check gmail on my desktop because the site acts as if it had never seen me before.

Firefox's safe mode is the same. I ran the antivirus on the whole system and it found nothing. Windows clock works fine. Other Firefox functions seem to behave like normal. Other browsers are unaffected.

I filed a bug report and I'm thinking about trying the last extended support version to see if it still happens. I backed up the whole profile and I would like to keep all my data, including the cookies.

So, what can I do to try and get this fixed fast, and possibly keep my cookies, too? Thank you very much!

We had OIDC redirect URL issue earlier which was fixed with this case: TS013165695. PMR team suspect issue is with firefox browser, please help us to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Thanks.

On my computer, I started using a VPN and I accessed a website like Avast.com (clicked OK on their cookie privacy policy) with Mozilla Firefox after forgetting to clear my past cookies and browsing data (from before using the VPN). Could that website or Avast.com (website server) have been able to track/obtain my real IP info or location through my browser's cookies/previous browsing data (from prior, different websites that I accessed)?

Please excuse my carelessness and ignorance. I am new to this. I don't know much about computers and the internet.

Hi, I have been working on a old project for one of my clients and found an issue. The firefox version i am using is 95.0.1 64bit version. After signing in, inside response headers from the server i am getting

set-cookie MYSESSION=eyJ***** HttpOnly

which is then used on next request i make to the server as Cookie MYSESSION=eyJhb***

But after upgrading my firefox version, although i am able to see the response header sent back from server, but it is not being sent in request header for the next api call.

Also this issue is only for localhost, works fine in production https urls

I would like to know what has changed in new version in terms of handling the response headers, thanks!

To repeat, in trying to connect to J. Lawson site for sending cards I received a message regarding cookies being cancelled through the browser I am using. As I stated above, I am 88 and have very limited knowledge regarding the computer. I wouldn't have a clue to cancel anything. This has never happened before. Could this be the result of Norton trying to update my "drivers"? Thank you for the help and thank you for fixing this. I do not want cookies deleted or whatever you folks call it. .

I was having trouble switching and logging out of Twitter so I thought I could just clear site cookies to make it work, but I weirdly discovered "about:preferences -> Manage Data -> Remove Selected / Remove All Shown" has no effect. i.e. after clearing, when I open up manage data again, they are still there. I did not try "Clear Data" above it because I was afraid of clearing out all my logins.

I reinstalled my computer several weeks ago and current profile was directly copied from my last machine, so this might be a possible cause? Could someone be so kind to help me get remove cookies and hopefully twitter back to work? Thank you in advance.

  2. 2 I set the same sites in the 'Manage Exceptions' tab so that these sites do not have their cookies deleted.

  4. 4 Close and re-open Firefox. All cookies are deleted.

I suspect this is a bug?
