I've been using alt+a to open new tabs in a multi account container for a long time. Recently that shortcut stopped working possibly with the update to v148 as indicated in this reddit thread.

alt+a is not listed as a shortcut in about:keyboard or in about:addons > manage extension shortcuts or in my ubuntu shortcuts nor in any software I can think of thats running. I've disabled all my add-ons except multi account containers to no avail. I can change the shortcut to another and it works fine.

Why would just that shortcut stop working? What else can I do to diagnose the problem?

Since version 149, the search box in the address-bar has a different behavior and layout. There may be cases, when this behaviour is better, but I don't get it. In my use-case, I have got to do several more clicks to select the correct search engine with every search.

How to get the old style & behaviour back:

enter: about:config in the address-bar. confirm security question. search the entry: browser.search.widget.new and set it to 'false'

Would be great to have a checkbox in the settings and the option if you want your familiar solution changed. (add this at the bottom of the new select search-engine dropdown.)

Chrome based browsers display dark pdf correctly. Firefox does not. see attached images. all extension are disabled.

More of a comment. Firefox is the only browser I have used. Love it! Many important bookmarks to easily navigate. Broser update messed up bookmarks and took me hours to get back! Found. Save key and/or password! Learned a lot about profiles and Firefox along the way. Ugh!

I'm on version 148.0, dragging tabs stopped working, not on horizontal and not on vertical tabs I've tried to create a help ticket for it but apparently the help form just does nothing and doesn't send when I click submit Anyone else experience any of these issues? I cannot connect with my on-line banking site. When I try, I get the message "Bad Request--Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. I am able to access the site using another browser, so there cannot be a problem with the site itself. This situation has only existed since Firefox did an update. So, the problem must lie with Firefox. If it is not fixed, then I fear that I will have to discontinue using Firefox as my online browser. When I open Firefox, all my bookmarked sites start loading at the same time. I have unchecked, the "Startup Open previous windows and tabs" option in General Settings. I also deleted, and added Firefox again, but all sites are still loading on opening Firefox. (Chrome browser is fine.) Any ideas? Thanks!

After updating firefox from 128.8.0 to 128.9.0, no embedded videos will play (youtube, instagram, plex, etc...)

The only way to get them to play is to run the browser in troubleshoot mode. Even a fresh browser profile doesn't work. Disabling hardware acceleration also does not work. Tried firefox 137.0.2 and that also does not work. Downgraded back to 128.8.0 and videos play flawlessly again.

I'm running firefox on gentoo linux on a thinkpad x13s (arm64) which uses Qualcomm Adreno 690 graphics.

Anything I should try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
