Latest Firefox on multiple Windows 10 systems. One of my devices is missing from "Send Tab To Device" list on one system. There are 10 others in the menu list, but not the one device I want. The device I want is shown under Managed Devices (Connected Services)

Using the latest version on my 5 y/o windows laptop (as of Sept 18th) and the laptop went totally black, the system could not be booted so I went to a PC repair shop. Technician said its problem is that the SSD is too old and a new laptop is recommended.

I use Firefox since day 1 of that laptop and after a long time I forgot the password. Now I have my new PC and need data from my old Firefox account (not this one), including bookmarks, passwords and read lists.

What to do???

i got a new computer and could not remember the old password to my foxfire account the email was [email]@wisperwireless.com and that is not available at this time. when i tried the phone number it said it was not the right one and i have had it for years. when i got the new computer i tried to sinc it and it did but not with that information with the new account. Any other way i can get the old toolbar icons back

Hi Is there any way to synchronize in Firefox another account but not mine, a different user i.e. I would like from time to time sent a opened Tab to my wife so she could see/read something interesting, but she's got different created account in Firefox. I have my Firefox sync logged in on my laptop and smartphone with the same account but how to sent an opened tab to a different user/different account.

I found that the accounts of the domain name account.com.cn and account.com do not seem to communicate with each other, which will affect the information synchronization of different devices.

I am not a geek and I follow all the details of 'how to etc etc' but nothing works and the phone goes into random loops and keeps telling my I cannot sync (I KNOW that). Firefox has no phone number or email system for technical support (or any type of support) just this hit and miss system of 'forums' (or is that fora). I tried to send a bug report but I am NOT signing up for another (geek speak) account just to send you the problem. Please fix this issue - it never used to happen on older versions - how can I roll back my firefox to something that works properly?? Hello, I was reinstalling my OS, and I didn't create recovery code for my data to retrieve it after (which I found out after reinstalling my OS) on my Mozilla Firefox account, I had a lot of passwords, bookmarks and data that I need to recover, also for my full time job a lot of valuable data which I have lost now. I couldn't find any email address so I can address my concern directly, It's why I am posting here. Please help, I am so lost now. I've got an old Windows XP computer running version 52.9.0. I'm trying to sign in to Sync (so I can sync with my new Windows 10 computer) but when I try on the old machine I get this error message:

Blocked by Content Security Policy

I've signed in on the new computer, not that it matters.

Is the any way I can connect to Sync?

I cannot login to my account (had to open a new one to even post this post..).

I do not have my authenticator app since my phone broke. I do have the "One-time use codes" which I saved. But, alas, how to make them work?

Hi, when I had cleaned out all my bookmarjks duplicates (and they were many 50.000 accumulated through the years)on my Linuxmachine and turned on my Windows 10 machine they were all back. So my question is: what data is saved when syncing with Firefox sync? And I dont mean the different types you can choose between ,no I mean: when I change one thing on onea logged in firefox on one machine doesnt that change the status of, and in my example the bookmarks on the other machines? Or is it the other way around, namely: will the second machine with all the duplicate bookmarks change the sync-"base" so they will be back on all other machines again? Very confusing especially if youre logged into moire machine then one at the same time. Please answer me, I really need to clean up my firefox's accumulated duplicates pretty quick. Sincerely Wal

Yesterday, I suddenly removed all logins and somehow my profile was synced to the cloud.

Fortunately, I still keep all login files (json and key db files), I tried to recovery all my logins, it was successfully.

But, right after that my profile was synced from the cloud to my machine then whole logins were clear.

So how can I overwrite my profile in the cloud so I can totally recovery my old logins?

Kindly help to give my some advice.

I use FF all day, every day and recently it stopped automatically logging me into my account when I open the browser. I've read through the other posts on this topic and tried everything from creating a new profile to changing the History settings. Unfortunately, none of the solutions provided have worked. I know it's only one password to type in and then my profile is synced and it retrieves my bookmarks, saved logins, etc. but it's very annoying to have to do.

Does anyone else have any other potential solutions?

I have Firefox in a Windows, a Mac and an Ubuntu computer, and sync is not working properly, passwords stored in the browser in the windows computer are not the same as the ones in the other computers, I did the "Sync now" but it didn't work, I disconnected my account in the Mac and synced it again but it is the same thing, not appearing in either

I've already looked through the FAQ and various solutions online and have not been able to find a solution that works. My issue is that while Firefox sync is signed in (and working) on 2 computers, as well as my iPhone and iPad, I have lost the password to the account and am not able to recover it from any of these devices. It seems the password saved in my "Passwords" is incorrect, and that seems to be the only place it was saved. I didn't write the password down anywhere, setup a recovery key, secondary email or two setup authentication.

I DO have access to the primary email account, but don't see any way to use that to recover the password either. As I am already signed in to sync, I AM able to add new devices using the QR code, but that doesn't seem to work for new computers (like the laptop I just bought). I have already extracted the saved passwords and bookmarks, and transferred them to a new account (the account I am signed in with right now).

However, I would rather use my original account instead of having two, nearly identical ones. I would also rather not fully reset my account as there might be something else I forgot to record that is buried in there somewhere. Is there some way to recover or extract my Firefox account password from one of the devices I am signed into? or is totally resetting the account the only option available?
