ALL extensions appear to be corrupt.

I'm using freshly-downloaded Firefox version 102.2 on a brand new laptop (Windows 11 Pro version 21H2), and every single extension is showing a "Installation aborted beca… (funda kabanzi)

I'm using freshly-downloaded Firefox version 102.2 on a brand new laptop (Windows 11 Pro version 21H2), and every single extension is showing a "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt" message when I try to install. I have tried checking for updates, quitting and reopening firefox, restarting my computer, refreshing firefox, uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, as well as any and all combinations of those. I've scoured these message boards and nothing is working for me. Please help!

I'm using a new PC with Windows 11 and find that I, inadvertently close Firefox with 16-20 open tabs. Most of the time when I reopen FF, the tabs are still there, as expected. Sometimes, the browser opens with just a new home page and the pinned and other tabs have closed. I can sometimes see the 16ish tabs in history and reopen them. More recently, I find that they are not in history as a number of tabs so I have to set them up again. This rarely happened on my old PC and if it did I would have bookmarked a group of open tabs that I used regularly.

The failsafe FF General setting is as follows: Startup, Open previous windows and tabs.

I don't know how I can stop losing my open Tabs but if I was able to bookmark all the open tabs to be used in case of a problem I would feel more secure.

How do I bookmark ALL or several my open tabs?

I've tried some suggestion on another topic to pick No Style on Page Style menu (View -> Page Style -> No Style) but it got more messed up and tried changing font size but still got no improvement. I must've accidentally pressed a button last night while I was watching a YouTube video on my desktop, as now the right and bottom edges are cut off when the video is in standard mode. Refreshing hasn't fixed the issue, neither has restarting or shutting down my laptop, as it was turned off for 12+ hours and I still had the issue when using YouTube today. It's even an issue in incognito mode, but not an issue if I use a completely different browser. I can't find anything else that has been affected by whatever button I must have pushed. Laptop is a Dell G15, if that's relevant. Would love any tips to fix this.

Hi, i just got a new laptop (Asus Zephryus G16, 2560 x 1600 screen) and after installing Firefox there is a thin white border to the left of the screen when running in fit screen. This problem is not present when in a windowed mode or in F11 full screen.

I tried updating the Intel Arc drivers but this did not fix the problem. Changing to compatibility mode also did not fix te problem.

PS: in the uploaded screenshots it is quite dificult to see the white line(because the background is also white), but when the image is viewed in a new tab it is visible.

On a late model Dell laptop, there are no domains listed under Exceptions-Cookies and Site Data. When I key in a domain (whether using www., http, https, or just the domain name by itself.) and click on Allow, that website is not added. It's the same as if browser security is stuck on Remove All Websites. With the same Privacy and Security settings on my desktop, I do not have this problem, so it appears not to be a matter of altering particular settings. Short of removing and reloading Firefox on the laptop, which might work but not teach anybody anything, are there suggestions?

I have firefox set up so that it does not suggest anything except for my bookmarks. So when I type in the address bar the only suggestions that come up are my bookmarks,… (funda kabanzi)

I have firefox set up so that it does not suggest anything except for my bookmarks.

So when I type in the address bar the only suggestions that come up are my bookmarks, no other suggestions.

For example when I need to translate something quick and want to go to the bookmarked page for google translate as soon as I type "trans..." it will suggest the link, Which is what I want and expect and is efficient.

But as has happened before, now I get a random suggestion coming up first so I have type more just to get to the same result otherwise I end up following a link to a suggested site which is at best aggravating.

I checked my seeting and there is one box ticked in the search suggestion settings that I cannot disable. I have tried and it always comes back.

How can I fix this?

I've been using Firefox for many years without a problem and have always liked it, but I've recently starting encountering a problem where Firefox consistently crashes after closing. After I close Firefox, the Windows Task Manager shows it still in memory. After a couple of minutes, the Mozilla Crash Reporter screen pops up informing me that Firefox had a problem and crashed, with an option to restart Firefox or Quit. I tried refreshing Firefox, which was a challenge because of the problem of hanging in memory after closing, but it did not resolve the problem. I also tried uninstalling it, then deleting the Mozilla folders and clearing out any references to Firefox in the Windows registry, and reinstalling it. I haven't installed any extensions yet; but sadly, I continue to encounter the problem. Any ideas about how to resolve the problem?

I should mention that I had bought a new SSD for my computer and migrated everything over from the old SSD to the new one. The problem with Firefox began after the migration. Everything else that was installed there works without a problem. I would be surprised if this is related to the issue considering I've reinstall Firefox.
