Hi, yesterday I got a new computer and I installed the Firefox on it, but when I started the browser for the first time, it was a mistake (I pushed the button by accident), so I immediately closed it. It was asking something about allowing the use of coolkies, but I didn't answer to that and simply closed the window.

The thing is that since then my firefox don't load properly. The buttons and the autocomplete are normally responding, but all pages (including the settings) are blank and sometimes it won't start at all and I have to close it with taskmanager to make it open next time (but still blank).

Does anyone have the idea what's going on?

Cannot take screenshot of problem (pop up ms from Amazon via Firefox) . . as soon as I pick up the phone or attempt any action whatsoever, the message box disappears. And since I have a fingerprint access option on, the moment my finger touches the screen for full access there is no record of the message for screen capture. Also, if I do nothing, the screen goes black (normal, with time/date etc visible) within a few seconds after the message appears . . though it is waiting for me to touch the screen at which time it reappears again for a few seconds. So it is pick up the phone . . trigger motion detection . . message box appears . . wait a couple of seconds . . black screen . . touch or pick up the phone . . message box . . black screen etc. I can of course do the fingerprint scan and have full phone features, but the preliminary nag "box message" all the time bugs the hell out of me. In the text of my "complaint" I quoted what the message says, it is not from Firefox but does have a tiny Firefox logo upper left. The small rectangular window also has a left/right "full return" arrow (grayed out each one) with a black "pause" button in between the two arrows, and it is not grayed out. However nothing happens if I touch it. In very small print under the main text (first few words of my Amazon review) is a link to the Amazon page where I posted a review of a product. The message itself that I refer to is NOT from Firefox, but is comprised of the first few words of my review headline (not all of it but most) on the Amazon product comment review page. So even though the "content" of the unwanted message is from Amazon, the Firefox logo nevertheless appears (very tiny) in the upper left of the rectangular window, so it appears to be a composite error interaction between Firefox and Amazon. How to tell Firefox to stop posting it? Or how to tell Amazon that their software is somehow involved? I haven't a clue . . ! This is a re-written complaint . . the original one resulted in an email request from "Seburo" who asked for a screenshot, but did not provide a return email address that functioned. I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

In the last few weeks Firefox will not open even when using admin rights. NOTE: I have followed all available posts including multiple uninstalls (complete), deleting Firefox folders, reinstalling, etc. There have been no major (or known) changes to my Windows 10 Pro system. I run Heimdal Thor and Kaspersky antivirus protection and there have been no conflicts running both at any time. I also use Acronis Protection (I know it may seem like overkill but it works). I have turned off each of the above and Firefox still does not open. Firefox runs with no problems on my personal and work laptops. I am CompTia A+ Certified so somewhat knowledgeable (a little knowledge is a dangerous thing!) and have run sfc /scannow with no issues noted. Plus, two Heimdal support reps have logged onto my system, attempted to find a solution, found no issues with my system (Omen 880 even though I don't game). My wife is a dedicated Firefox user and wants it back.

I tried to log in to my bank and it says "access denied." I may have changed a setting or something on Firefox or my VPN. I'm confused, am not very computer savvy. I went to Apple store last weekend for phone and they said I should use Safari for info security, so I made that default on my Mac Mini (where I'm writing now) for a couple days, but then got blocked from a website where I plan to apply for a job, so I went back to Firefox, after I read articles saying that Firefox is more secure. I am using a VPN, so is that part of the problem ? (shouldn't be, because I have had that for a year or so). I don't know what to do, and it is after 12:45 am now, and I have to go to bed, have to get up for work in 6 hours. I hope someone has some help for me when I log in tomorrow. When I load a page the first time, everything loads normally. Then if I refresh the page with CTRL-R, resources on the page (such as .js files) very often (seemingly 75% of the time) only partially load and therefore parse errors occur in the console. To reload a page, I have to hit CTRL-SHIFT-R to bypass cache and then the page loads normally again. I can also just launch the page in a private window (this loads properly), close the window and launch it again in another private window (this loads perfectly still) but it's becoming a chore to juggle with private windows only to reload a page I'm working on. I can see the resources loaded under the NETWORK tab in the console but they don't seem to be available to the page renderer or something.

Is this a bug in v100.0.2 or was I only having a bad weekend and all of this is just a random glitch that will go away soon? I've never had a problem like this with any previous Firefox releases (even v100.0) and I've used FF for approximately 15 years. It immediately began to happen after the v100.0.2 update!

What I have done so far:

- Exit out of Firefox and launch it again. - Rebooted the computer. - Site Information > Clear Cookies & Site Data - Waited 2 days for another FF release in case this was a bug and it rapidly got fixed (no update rolled out since). - Help > More Troubleshooting Information > Clear Startup Cache

Am I going crazy or?

Whenever I use web-applications that use WebGL or anything similar, they are always distorted. And yes, I have tried disabling Performance Settings, but that only slightly helped.

Sorry for asking a question so many others have asked but I am having trouble completing fixes that were suggested.

I do project research with over 25+ websites and can't do without my p/words especially, but also my bookmarks. I just reset my PC Win 10 and as you know this operation cleans out everything but OEM apps.

So, I downloaded latest ver. FF but my passwords and bookmarks aren't there which I actually anticipated.

I read many posts and replie s on how to restore from old Firefox date filesbut I just don't get it (about:support, Help > troubleshooting information). I located my old FF profile easily. OK fine, now what? Instructions said to copy profile but to where? And how, exactly? Do I paste it somewhere?

Another "Reply" said to locate "Local Directory, no root", then click Paste and restart Firefox. Where is Local Directory? Is there a FF restart button?

I always use the current Firefox on two Macintosh browsers running OS 10.14.6.

Recently (in only one of the computers), if I download a file, a pane containing recent downloads opens in the upper left-hand quadrant. This is distinct from the downloads portion of the "Library" area, and gets in the way of my ability to use Firefox efficiently.

I can't seem to find a way to keep this pane from repeatedly opening up as I download things. Can anyone help?

Amazon 'Look Inside' pop-up does not work with FF as I've configured FF. Iv'e included a screen snip.

I've unchecked block pop-ups but still the 'Look Inside' doesn't work.

Since about 2 weeks ago many AOL attachments are not opening (pdf.s are but others eg Word not). I have read thru' previous messages on this (in 2021) but turning off enhanced tracking has not fixed it. My attachments open in Edge and Chrome. Like others I would like to stay with Firefox but cannot live with this problem. Help please

On certain websites I notices I have 'unknown errors' when trying to log in.

Usually this is remedied by either using Chrome or clearing cookies and the cache.

Both of there are inconvenient and result in a great deal of wasted time.

The usual response by these websites is "get Mozilla to fix this".

I'm getting sick of this.

I don't want to switch to Chrome but I will have to if this persists.

As of this morning, the Firefox browser on my work computer does not get access to any website - including mozilla itself. On the same computer Safari works without problems, on my smartphone and in the same wifi network my mobile Firefox works.

What is wrong?

As from v100.0, Firefox allows users to "set their preferred color schemes for websites".

Ironically, this does not addresses complaints from users, including me, who wish for a consistent Light theme all across Firefox.

Even if "Web site appearance" is set as Light, the following still remain dark:

• Background of main drop-down menu (Containing "Sync and save data", "New tab", "Print", "Settings", etc)
• Background of right-click menu (Containing the refresh icon, "Save page as", "View page source", etc)
• Background of "Please enter primary password" menu
• Background of auto-filled user name and password menus
• Background of elements in a bookmark folder
• Background of Downloads menu
• Background of Print menu
• Background of "Clear all history" menu
• Background of "Find on this page" menu
• Background of "You are about to close X tabs" warning menu
• Colour of title bar for "About Mozilla Firefox" window, when the window is not currently active

Being able to set "browser.theme.toolbar-theme" permanently as 2 would fix all of the above, but users are still (Note: Since v96.0, when this complaint was raised) prevented from doing so. Why?

I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows. Using Ancestry.com for genealogical research. The option exists to view other trees with comparable information. Works in Chrome, Vivaldi and Opera. Works in Firefox Developer. Will not work in FF 100.0.2. I've tried the usual troubleshooting - safe mode, enabling/disabling DNSPrefetch. Example URL http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/PersonMatch.aspx?tid=44861136&pid=162378642007&src=m which should display snapshots of other trees containing the same people. Only on Firefox, I am redirected to my homepage on the website. I have read of others having the same problem. Any fix suggestions? Thanks.
