I have set up 11 custom devices that max the min and max sizes of bootstrap grid system (xs-min-360w, xs-max-575, etc) to aid me with checking my website on various screen sizes. Is there anyway to export this list or better still to synch them with my Firefox account so I don't lose these settings?

I am using Firefox Developer Edition (101.0b6 (64-bit)) on Ubuntu 20.04.

Currently running MacOS Montery but the problem was still occurring on previous versions.

Whenever I use the green top left button to enter full-screen, the app immediately freezes and either crashes or has to be manually force quit. There are no reports in about:crashes and I there has been no success with troubleshooting mode or switching versions of the Firefox application.

Machine Info: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) Processor: 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 Memory: 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

I am wondering if it is at all possible to adjust the settings when pulling a tab into a new window. For example, if I am running Firefox fullscreen I would like the tab that I pull to be opened in windowed form. I noticed that this is typically the case when using Chromium-based browsers, but noticed that on Firefox it stays in the format as the previous window. (if already windowed the pulled tab will also be windowed) is there a way to ensure that the pulled tab will always be windowed?

if there's not already an option to autohide the bookmarks toolbar (like the address bar and tabs when in F11 mode [fullscreen])

can there be?

so like, on default the bookmark toolbar wouldn't show, but when I move my mouse into the specified area it appears (with the same animation as f11 mode)

My use case is the following. I use Firefox Developer Edition for developing websites. Usually the development happens on a certain part of the page. Most of the times it is not on the top of the page, so you have to scroll down to it.

Sometimes when the page is refreshed a jump to the top happens. So then I need to scroll down again. It takes a lot of time and concentration away if it happens dozens of times a day.

It often happens after I did some changes to the files on the page. It usually does not happen when I refresh the page a couple of times (when I purpously want to reproduce this problem).

I did try running Firefox in Safe mode, but it didn't help.

What can be done to fix this problem on my side? Is this a bug in Firefox itself?

Ive collected an insane amount of pages in collections on my android phone. After syncing this and opening Firefox on a PC which does not understand collections I've lost all these links. Is this by design? I had such a nice recipe for potato asparagus salad which now is lost forever.

Hi, I have set Firefox to "Open previous windows and tabs" and to "Open links in tabs instead of new windows". When the system opens Firefox for me because I've clicked a link in a document, I would like the link to open in a new tab of that previous window which Firefox opens at startup. For many years this was its behaviour. In Chrome for example, this was not and is still not the case.

Recent upgrades to Firefox have changed its behaviour to that of Chrome. When I click a link, Firefox now opens the link in a new window and then opens the previous window on top of that. The link I wanted to follow is behind and invisible.

Could someone check and see if this is related to my system (I'm running Monterey) or if it's reproducible? I can't think of a reason for this change so it feels like a bug, either on my system or in the app itself.

For a few days now, I have not been able to play videos. I get this message in the video screen: "If playback doesn’t begin shortly, try restarting your device." When I opened Firefox in Troubleshooting mode, the video played OK and then when I stopped Troubleshooting mode the videos continued to play OK. However, on the next day the problem reappears. After inserting the proxy information, webpages in the container tab refuse to load/connect, I insert the IP address and I've also tried the Fully qualified domain name, using the type://host:port syntax, I get "The proxy server is refusing connections" and "The connection has timed out" error messages.

If I setup the proxy via the settings menu the entire browser uses the proxy server address, I am trying to specify a different proxy server for each container.

In order to more convenient drag-and-drop interface, I need a fixed fixed space in nav-bar like Edge. For now we can add a flexible space on it. But it's flexible and it will disappear when I use a side window. And I can't drag over titlebar-buttonbox-container Please help me. Thanks!

So, in order to open the page I have to press "Open Site in New Window"

Recently gmail stopped autocomplete addressees when writing emails in firefox. It still works with chrome. I've tried completely uninstalling firefox using revouninstaller and installing a clean version with no addons, but it didn't help. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've been having issues with the themes on the Firefox Browser. Almost all themes forces dark-mode on the browser. Since update 100 it no longer effects websites, but it still affects the browser (menues etc) despite me having the settings locked on light-mode.

I used Speedtest by Ookla. When the broad band was installed, the technician did this without a problem. Today when I tried I was taken to an installation page. After I used the SpeedTest, then my main page was gone and instead I have a bar of Firefox selected options. I've tried to find how this is done so I can set it back but I can't find it. Please help.

This is a massive issue to a great part of the community I don't use Firefox as I used to, as so many of my clients are also moving away, ( Gone to different platforms to Edge and Chrome) I'm sure this can be easily fixed.

I just had a glitch with the latest update to 102b, FF insisted I had an old version and would only let me make a new profile. So I had to set up multi-account containers again. I have specific sites opening up in each container, and I'd like to make a copy to make sure that if my profile gets goofed up somehow, I can always easily restore my setup with multiaccount containers just the way I like it.

What do I need to copy, so that with a new profile, all I need to do is copy over some files?

In my profile folder, I see an Extensions folder, as well as an extensions.json and extensions-settings.json.

Are those the only folders/files I'd need to restore multi-account containers on a new profile?

I have thought of using FF Sync, but I keep reading that it is not intended for copying, so much as sharing across different devices, which is not something I'm interested in. Should I just let sync copy my extensions, and then sign back in, in the event I want to restore addons to a new profile?
