In the Settings section of my phone it says VPN not connected even though I have downloaded the app and it seems to be working. It asks for the type of VPNI want to install. I don’t know what kind this is. What should I put for the Settings?

Can I add Firefox and still keep Safari and switch between them? One reason would be that I have so much stuff in Safari—hundreds of tabs open, folders, history—that I wouldn’t want to lose, and even if there’s a way to move it all to Firefox, I’m not sure that I’d trust that nothing would be lost. But there are a number of things I run up against that aren’t compatible with Safari, so I need to have an alternative for those times, without being forced into the googleverse with Chrome. Thanks. I recently saw FF was available for ios. I tried to download it, but my iphone is only on ios 12.5.5, with no further updates to higher numbers, and FF now only seems to support 13+ But I see numerous older references to support for 12. Where do I find it?

I've turned off auto-complete on my Firefox iOS app, but it still suggests every bookmark I have that matches whatever I start typing. How can I turn this off - or is it just not an option?

I am trying to delete website data and the “show more” option only allows me to choose one site. I have to continue to click on show more to choose more website data to delete.

When I do not use the “show more” option, I can only delete about 10 at a time. If I choose not to delete a website, then it will remain as part of the ten options. For example, if I choose not to delete 3 websites, then every time it loads new data, I really only have 7 to delete (because I want to keep the first 3). It takes forever to get through all of the website data listed.

If the “show more” drop down list would stay visible after choosing a website, it would go a lot faster.

I don’t want to delete everything. Isn’t there a faster way to do this?

Any workaround ideas for installing Firefox on "new" iPad with OS 12.5.5 that son bought father for Father's Day gift? I love Firefox, my default on old iPhone and new iMac (and old iMac). Thanks, Pat Terry

My firefox app disappeared from my iPhone 6S. It still shows as being installed in settings. The only way I can access it is to go into App Store and open it. It will still not show up on the phone

I have so many god damn tabs it’s insane, and they’re all in groups, so say 10 in a row is about the same thing. Problem is, with all of them inactive now, I have to open them all one at a time. Then go back to inactive tabs. Then scroll all the way down. Then open the next one, and so on and so forth. It is incredibly annoying. I want all my tabs to stop turning inactive, regardless of how long it’s been since I opened them. If possible, I’d also like to move all my tabs from inactive to be normal again without clicking one by one in probably half an hour of tedium at least.

Does Firefox have an app, setting, or a different browser than Firefox in Private Browsing mode that allows me not to be tracked and having no or minimal ads while surfing? Firefox in Private Browsing mode has too many ads taking up a lot of space on my smartphone’s screen. I don’t want to have loads of cookies, and web caches after surfing, and don’t want to have to delete unknown cookies on my phone. I have tried Duck Duck Go, Safari with Adguard, Ghostery, Firefox in Private Browsing mode, etc on my iPhone, but still have tons of cookies and web caches, plus unknown cookies on the phone web history.

This app replaces my text as I have it set up on my iPhone 13,iOS 15.5, but it does it automatically unlike all my other browser apps which show the text replacement as an option I can tap or X out of it if I don’t want. It’s impossible for me to type in a search query without the automatic text replacement filling and making it impossible for me to type in my search query. In other words I can’t get past the automatic text replacing in the field, which makes it impossible to do a search. Ive looked everywhere on the app and my iPhone for a specific setting to turn off, but can’t find it, if it exits? Help!

How can I share an article, a tab, in Firefox Daylight 101.1 for iOS? Whatever I try I can only share a link, not a whole page which is a piece of cake in Safari. The reason I want this is that I save articles for later use by sending then to my mail address. I feel bad about being forced to use Safari - I usually never do that since Firefox is much better except for this. Have I missed something?

Hi. I love firefox and have been using the app for the last 5 years.. I generally use the same firefox account on all my devices (laptop, android and iOS) and love the pocket recommendations on the homepage. I tried enabling it on my iOS device (iPhone 13 pro) but it’s not showing even when it’s turned on!! I reinstalled the app several times and enabled it to see if that fixes the issue but it’s still not resolved. Kindly help me with this because one of the main reasons why I’m using firefox is because of the pocket recommendations!!

Only a small portion of logins are synced across the desktop and iOS device. It appears only the logins that have been recently updated manually are synced. All other logins that were auto-imported are not synced from the desktop to the phone.
