Thank you./Edit ---- I have been on Google's support forum for Gmail, but I call my issue to the attention of Firefox support. It has to do with the bottom right corner of the Firefox window containing the window resize controls even when a web page extends its vertical scroll controls to the bottom of the window. I see on most web sites, as in this forum's question editor and the Google search results or YouTube, when a vertical scroll is present it sits above the bottom right corner, and a horizontal scroll, if present, sits left of this bottom right corner. Point the mouse to the bottom right corner to resize the right and bottom edges of the Firefox window in Windows XP. Click and drag, and resize the right and bottom borders of the browser window. Point just above this box and I am in the vertical scroll down-arrow button control. I scroll down a few lines at a time with each click. Now some web sites position the bottom of the vertical scroll all the way to the bottom of the Firefox window. I still have page resize controls in the space now occupied by the down-arrow button, and cannot use the button for scrolling. This issue is found in my Gmail inbox, while reading a related thread of emails, replying to sender, or using the settings page in Gmail, also in the Google help forum pages and in Time Magazine's web site. I also viewed two PDF documents inline, from two different sources. The Time URL: http://time.com/17018/kansas-city-area-spelling-bee-finally-ends/ In the case of Gmail, turning off styles gives me a useless output, but in the case of Time, turning off styles gives me a useful view of the page, and with it, correction of the issue. The unstyled Time page reserves the bottom block for page-resize controls and the vertical scroll is just above it and is fully accessible. I have reset Firefox, and reinstalled a minimal number of add-ons. I was experiencing the issue described above right after doing the reset, as well as before the reset. It appears that some page styling techniques extend the scroll control into conflict with Firefox resize controls. Yet the person who answered my Google Help post could not duplicate my problem. I should be able to enter some CSS into the Chrome folder that limits the positioning of scroll bars with "!important" added to the rule. Any advice?
