Why is there a double AA at the top of my screen? Can I get rid of it?
Only when on the internet. In the center of the screen at the very top.

Did this just start when you installed Firefox 28 today or was it there in previous versions as well?
I noticed you have an extension named "Websteroids" which is associated with adware. Perhaps rooting that out will help with the AA issue?
As a test, you could start by disabling it on the Add-ons page. Either:
- Ctrl+Shift+a
- orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. After clicking Disable, a link may appear above the extension to restart Firefox. Go ahead and click it if you are ready to close Firefox, or it will take effect the next time you exit and restart.
To actually remove the extension, you probably need to visit the Windows Control Panel (you can use the search box on the charms bar, or PC settings) the under Programs and Features, Uninstall. Clicking the "Installed on" column heading to group by date may be helpful in discovering previously unnoticed bundled programs that you want to remove.
